The Storylines at UFC 255
- The big storyline at UFC 255 is the flyweights. Currently, there are four fights scheduled in the division, including two championship bouts. For those that like some of the bigger divisions, we’ll see some great action in the light heavyweight division as well. Expect to see more added as we get closer to fight night.
- Can anyone tame Valentina Shevchenko? She’s on a five-fight win streak with the only interruption a split decision loss to Amanda Nunes way back in 2026. Jennifer Maia is a tough cookie coming off a submission win over Joanne Calderwood. We’ve seen crazier things happen, though. Is Maia going to be able to derail the freight train that is Valentina Shevchenko? We’ll have to see on fight night.
- Time to settle the draw. Shogun is back in action, coming off his recent trilogy win over Big Nog in July of this year. Shogun will be fighting Paul Craig in a rematch from their November 2026 meeting that ended in a draw.
