  • The Kamaru Usman vs. Gilbert Burns fight is going to be electric. But what’s really interesting is that both fighters have been teammates for quite a while now. Usually, teammates don’t fight each other in MMA, but sometimes exceptions need to be made when more than one person wants that title belt. For this fight, Burns is staying at Sanford MMA, and Usman is going to an outside camp. Henry Hooft also announced that he’ll be at the gym, but he’s not picking sides and isn’t going to the fight. It will be interesting to see how Usman adapts to a new camp and if he goes back to Sanford MMA after the fight.
  • Amanda Nunes has been an absolute wrecking ball in women’s MMA for a while now on an 11 fight winning streak. Through that streak, she’s left big names like Ronda Rousey, Valentina Shevchenko, and Holly Holm in the dust. Can Megan Anderson be the one to stop the Lioness?
